Alexander Graham Bell Association for the Deaf and Hard of Hearing.  Advocacy group supporting children with hearing loss; information and support for parents and professionals, including membership services and publications.

American Tinnitus Association.  Non-profit organization with resources, information, membership service, and assistance to tinnitus sufferers.

Better Hearing Institute (BHI).  Non-profit institute with information about hearing loss and available help through medicine, surgery, amplification and other rehabilitation.

The Caption Center .  Non-profit agency with caption services for television shows, music videos, home videos, and feature films.

The Education and Auditory Research (EAR) Foundation.  Series of hearing-related programs with support groups, anatomy of the ear, and special newsletter for meniere sufferers.

Hearing Education and Awareness for Rockers (HEAR).  Non-profit organization dedicated to raising awareness of the dangers of repeated exposure to excessive noise levels.

National Association of the Deaf (NAD).  Protecting the civil rights of the deaf and hard of hearing in education, employment, health care, social services, and telecommunications.

National Institute on Aging (NIA).  Promoting aging research and providing health-related information of hearing loss in the elderly.

National Institute on Deafness and Other Communication Disorders (NIDCD).  Conducts and supports research and distributes information on human communication disorders, including hearing, balance, smell, taste, voice, speech, and language.

Hearing Loss Association of America.  Providing information, education, support, hearing-test screenings, and advocacy for those suffering from hearing-loss disabilities.
