Quick Check Hearing Pad allows hearing loss to be checked based on the Revised American Academy of Otolaryngology-Head & Neck Surgery (AAO-HNS) five-minute hearing check. It is a means of quickly assessing if a patient possibly has a hearing loss requiring referral to an audiologist for an objective hearing test and possible hearing solution.

When physicians use the Quick Check Hearing Pad to test hearing with their patients, they can normally bill for this service using the ICD9 Code: 92550 for hearing screenings . Usual reimbursement can be up to $25 per patient tested.
